We do ask students to be collected from inside the building, the safety of all students is paramount and class change can become incredibly busy so teachers must see parents/guardians before allowing the child to leave.
Hope Hub have two rooms - the main auditorium and the dance studio. in All classes will be collected from inside the cafe at the start of their time.
Transition of classes and styles will be the responsibility of the teacher and parents are only required to enter the building fro drop off and pick up.
Please ensure students bring water and appropriate quick snacks to have in between classes.
The cafe is open for parents during class times. The cafe is ran by Hope Hub and does not have anything to do with Velocity Dance Academy.

Velocity Dance Academy are delighted to follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus for Ballet and students will have the opportunity to take part in inhouse examinations and RAD examinations. There is no pressure in examinations, they are optional but our primary level provides a fun and engaging start really supporting the fundamental ballet technique and providing a sense of achievement for all.
Students also have the opportunity to dance in our annual show.
This Ballet class is one of four classes on offer for our Senior's group (S1 and above). Each class with 45 minutes or 1 hour long with a 5 minute break in between for changing shoes or water/small snack.
Students are welcome to take part in 1,2 or 3 classes.
*Teachers are only responsible for the student's whilst they are booked into their class, please only book classes side by side.
We offer a two week trial initially, please book the trial option. A two week trial will allow your child visit our space, meet their teacher and take part in out weekly classes.
Our Senior Timetable offers RAD Ballet (45 minutes, Musical Theatre and Tap (Combined) (60 minutes), Lyrical (45 minutes) and Street (45minutes). We also offer a multi class discount. The first class is £25 for 45 minutes or £30 for a hour ever week per month, the second class is discount to £12.50 (£total of £42.50 or £37.50 per month) and the third and fourth class further discounted to £10 (total of £47.50 (3x 45 minutes) £52.50 or per month (1x 60 minutes and 2 x 45 minutes or all 4 classes for £62.50). We pride our selves on giving everyone the opportunity to take part in as much as possible.
*Students are welcome to trial all classes and pick the classes the wish to continue.
Payment Details
In most circumstances, classes runs in accordance with school term time. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year. These fees are split into 12 affordable payments, therefore fees are still due during term holidays. Holidays are deducted from the overall cost. These fees are taken out on the 1st of every month. Payments run from July to June.
What will my child need...
For the RAD Primary Ballet class your child will require;
-Black Velocity Leotard
-Pink Ballet socks or tights
-Pink Ballet Shoes
*Boys have an alternative uniform list of Black leotard or t-shirt, Shorts and Black Ballet Shoes

Shoes can be bought in person from the local dance shop in Larkhall, 'Sparkle'. Please check their Facebook for opening times as they can vary.
Price:
£25.00 per month
This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: Velocity Dance Academy runs Term Time however payments run over 12 months with holidays have already been deducted from the monthly fees.
You are not charged for the weeks we are off but to ensure consistency, stability and affordability we divide the payment for the number of classes over 12 months. This runs from August to July with the last payment of the year in July. Anyone that does not return after summer would have one final payment in July.
Payment covers teachers, hall hire, insurance, music license and equipment. It also covers all seasonal parties and term time dance classes.
Please provide us with written notice of leaving (email) before the 15th of the month. If it is less than this time, payment will be taken on the next 1st of the month and stop there after. If you confirm before the 15th, no more payments will be taken. Payments are taken automatically and therefore we do require time to prevent this.
