Velocity Minis (Ages 4–6 Years)

We have two classes on offer for Velocity Minis: Dance Technique and Dance Performance.

These enjoyable sessions are the perfect introduction for our little dancers aged four to six years, following the Velocity Pathway.

What is this class?


The Dance Performance class will focus on performance-based learning to include:

*Commercial/Street
* Musical Theatre

Velocity Minis is truly a magical experience where dancers grow in confidence and enjoy dance.


During the early years, a child’s brain rapidly develops, forming millions of neural connections each second. This crucial stage supports communication, social interaction, emotional expression, and confidence. Through creative movement and music, young children can explore emotions, develop coordination, and enhance cognitive skills in a fun and supportive environment.


Students also have the opportunity to perform in our annual show.

Class Structure

Parents have the choice to book their child into one class or both classes, depending on what suits them best.

Dance Technique and Dance Performance are the two weekly classes available for our Minis group (ages 4–6.5 years).
Each class runs for 45 minutes, with a 5-minute break between them for changing shoes or a quick drink/snack.
Students may join one or both classes.
Teachers are responsible for students only during the classes they are booked into.

Two-Week Trial

We offer an initial two-week trial, allowing your child to visit our space, meet their teacher, and experience our weekly classes.
Students are welcome to trial both classes before choosing which ones to continue.


Fees & Discounts

We offer a multi-class discount to ensure every dancer can take part in as much as possible:
First class: £25 per month
Second class: £12.50 per month
Total for two classes: £37.50 per month

Classes generally follow school term times. Your payment plan covers all annual fees, divided into 12 equal monthly payments, so fees remain due during term holidays. (Holiday periods are already deducted from the total cost.)
Payments are taken on the 1st of each month, running July to June.


What Your Child Will Need
For the Performance Class, your child will need:
*Velocity T-shirt
*Black leggings or shorts
(Pink ballet shoes (girls) or black ballet shoes (boys)

For technique children should wear additionally the velocity leotard (which can be worn underneath the t-shirt for performance) and have black tap shoes.

All branded uniform can be purchased from Clic Clothing.
Ballet shoes can be bought locally from Sparkle in Larkhall (opening hours vary—please check their Facebook page).
