All …more students must be collected from the Cafe Door (not from the car park). We do ask students to be collected from inside the building, the safety of all students is paramount and class change can become incredibly busy so teachers must see parents/guardians before allowing the child to leave.
Hope Hub have two rooms - the main auditorium and the dance studio. in All classes will be collected from inside the cafe at the start of their time.
Transition of classes and styles will be the responsibility of the teacher and parents are only required to enter the building fro drop off and pick up.
Please ensure students bring water and appropriate quick snacks to have in between classes.
The cafe is open for parents during class times. The cafe is ran by Hope Hub and does not have anything to do with Velocity Dance Academy.

For our Primary 5 and above, Musical Theatre and Tap class will become our new performance class which works on building confidence, performance, dance styles, social interaction, working with peers through voice, song and dance and in addition, we are thrilled to welcome Miss Maria who will be our lead Tap Teacher, a new style for Velocity this year!

For 2024/2025, we are delighted with the help of our new teachers to share our new dance programme that will support students interest’s and offer specific styles of dance once again. We can now offer four classes within various styles of dance!

Our teachers both current and new, are professional, come with much knowledge in their field and we are super excited to offer this programme! Your child would be with their age group and would have the option of choosing 1 to 4 classes. Each class is 45 minutes and we would ensure each child was given the appropriate water/snack break. Miss Charli will be overseeing all classes to ensure students settle in to their new classes.
Our Payment Plan
A standard 45 minute class is £24. However, our goal is to ensure as many students can have access to as many styles as possible, therefore we do have a payment plan to help and support as much as we can whilst ensuring we can cover the basic costs to run the dance classes. Please see the break down below for the monthly fee that covers the number of hours tuition every week term time;
1 class (45 minutes) - £24
2 classes (1.5hours) - £37.50
3 classes (2hours 45 minutes)- £45
4 classes (3 hours)- £52.50
In most circumstances, classes runs in accordance with school term time. Your payment plan covers all fees for the year. These fees are split into 12 affordable payments, therefore fees are still due during term holidays. These fees are taken out on the 1st of every month and run August to July.

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: Velocity Dance Academy runs Term Time however payments run over 12 months with holidays have already been deducted from the monthly fees.
You are not charged for the weeks we are off but to ensure consistency, stability and affordability we divide the payment for the number of classes over 12 months. This runs from August to July with the last payment of the year in July. Anyone that does not return after summer would have one final payment in July.
Payment covers teachers, hall hire, insurance, music license and equipment. It also covers all seasonal parties and term time dance classes.
Please provide us with written notice of leaving (email) before the 15th of the month. If it is less than this time, payment will be taken on the next 1st of the month and stop there after. If you confirm before the 15th, no more payments will be taken. Payments are taken automatically and therefore we do require time to prevent this.
